My days as a buzzblogger are slowly come to a close; so I figured before I go, I’d share my favorite things. I understand I’m not Oprah, I can’t give you free things, but I can give you an idea of things to do/buy on a budget (because I’m broke haha) and so you get to know a little more about me (and to keep my guy followers happy, I’ll include some things that may be considered drool-worthy).
My favorite:
Pumps: Mossimo Pearce Pumps.
You can find these lovely shoes at Target for about 30 dollars. I bought my first pair of these babies about 6 months ago in flat black and fell in love. I’m weird when it comes to pumps, most of the more expensive brands don’t fit right. Fortunately for me, these fit perfectly. I wore these shoes EVERYWHERE, to college parties, to events, to the mall…you name it, they’ve been through it (including mud) and have held up VERY well. I recently bought these shoes in a patent red, and have been in love ever since. I decided to check online a few days ago to see if I could order another pair in flat black, and it turns out they have quite the selection of colors (and I intend to get every single one)
Place for Jewelry: Kohls
Those of you who know me well, know that I’m a sucker for a sale and Kohls has sales quite often. The two rings I ALWAYS wear that say “hope” and “faith” were purchased at kohls (originally 20 bucks each, got them both for 14). Kohls is also very customer service oriented, I’ve never had a bad experience in any of the kohls I have been to (and trust me, I’ve been to locations all over the east coast).
Chapstick: Blistex Orange Cream
One word: Yummy. This chapstick reminds me of a creamsicle and I’m obsessed. It’s definitely a perfect flavor for when you smooch someone (you don’t want something too exotic). Blistex, bravo, you get my stamp of approval.
Charity: Wounded Warrior Project (WWP)
I’ve been interested in this charity for quite some time. Having several family members, friends and a boyfriend who have served or are serving in the military really makes this charity hit home for me. I could write so much about this wonderful charity, but I encourage you to look it up for yourself. Please visit believeinheroes.org for more information and to donate.
Place to Relax: Hawk’s nest
Those of you who know me well, know that I LOVE scenic places. I’m quite easy to please, in that aspect. Whenever I’m back home, I always try to make time and take a drive to visit this wonderful place. To google it, you have to search Hawk’s Nest NY. If you’re ever in that area, I encourage you to go check it out (although, they may be doing construction on it at this time).
Car: 35th Anniversary Pontiac Trans Am ws6
Pretty sure if I could marry this car, I would. I could go on and on about how amazing this car is, but I’ll spare you the details (if you’re interested, look up the specs online). Getting this car is definitely on my bucket list (only if I win the lottery, unfortunately).
Makeup: Maybelline Eyestudio (05 Give Me Gold), Covergirl Lashblast Volume Waterproof & Eyeliner Gel.
Everything I just listed is below 10 bucks and can be found at any local drugstore. I rarely wear makeup, but when I do that’s what I use.
Romantic Gesture: Good Morning Texts
There’s nothing I love more than a ‘Good Morning Gorgeous’ text waiting for me when I wake up.
