Today I will be talking about BBW (Bath and Body Works). If you don’t know this already this is a store meant for your body, lotions, perfumes, rubber duckies, soaps, and etc. This list could go on forever. This is why this is my favorite store.
Lotions: I have 7 big bottles of lotion and 6 small bottles. That gives me a total of 13 lotions (I’m smart). People may think that’s a lot but I love lotions! There are plenty of different types of scents, and I love all of them! I usually have a lotion in my pencil case for when my hands get dry and an extra 2 bottles in my locker.
Perfumes: I love perfume! It makes me smell so good in the morning, and I am confident that I always smell good ! I have an extra one in my locker in case of emergency. I would recommend it for anyone, if you haven’t already you should! I know a lot of people have their perfume.
Hand Sanitizers: I have about a million of these because I love to be clean! My hands always have to be clean, to me anyways. I’m sorta a neat/clean freak. I have two extras in my locker and one in my backpack (you never know what you can come across). Also they have different smelling scents. Bath and Body Works always have scents for the type of season we are in. I keep one or two in my purse, 2 in my locker, and I have one on my lunchbox. Since these are so small you can basically take them anywhere! Usually my friends come to my locker just to ask if they can have hand sanitizer…
I love Bath and Body Works. If you haven’t been there yet you should cause they are amazing! It’s a little piece of me.

The Cammy Buzz
Hey guys! Today I am going to talk about one of my all time favorite shows, Dance Moms!
It started off with 5 young dancers from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and the team kept on growing to what are now 6 dancers on the show but 7 in real life. These girls go to a very advanced and competitive dance studio called Abby Lee Dance Company (ALDC). The girls are on a competitive dancing team. They win first in many dances. Some weeks girls have solos, duets, or trios. They normally always do at least one group dance or more. These girls are all very talented dancers. They can all contort their bodies in ways most children cannot. They do amazing acrobatics! They can do a lot of flips and tumbling. Not only that but these girls work 12 hours a day for dance and 8 hours for school! They must be tired! They film the show way before they air it, like many other shows. As of now there is Paige, Brooke, Maddie, Mackenzie, Nia, and Chloe! In season 1 a girl named Vivi was on the show and her mom owned a dance studio too. They ended up quitting and Vivi went back to her mom’s studio Candy Apples Dance Center, which later became ALDC’s rivals! Kendall also is now back on the team but is still not shown back on the show. As of now she is still at the rival’s studio, CADC on the show.
Now let’s talk about the moms and the crazy dance teacher Ms. Abby Lee Miller. Abby does not have a child or a husband but in her eyes she “raised these kids.” The moms and Abby fight a lot. The moms also fight with each other. They fight about who is always first and the best and who gets the most favoritism by Abby. Most moms pick on Maddie and Mackenzie’s mom Melissa because she allows Abby to favorite her child. She also got bothered about being engaged and not telling any of her closest friends (the moms) when she had a huge rock on her finger! (Melissa says dance ruined her first marriage and now she is getting remarried). They also would bother her about trying to get her daughter on top by working at the front desk of ALDC to get her daughters some free classes and more privates and rehearsal time. The moms are always complaining about provocative dances, and inappropriate costumes. Most of the times these young 7-12 year old girls are going on stage in crop tops and booty shorts! But Abby just says “That’s why they can get away with it, because they are young.” That I do not get one bit! One time the girls went on stage performing as topless showgirls in tan bras and white booty shorts using pink fans to block them “most of the time” which was actually barely any time at all. The mom’s names are Kelly, Christi, Holly, and Melissa. There is also Jill who is Kendall’s mom. She left ALDC because her daughter was on probation when she first came to the studio as a newcomer which most newcomers are. Probation is where Abby gets to take you off the team at anytime. So technically you have to prove to her you’re good enough to compete with these girls. You will be off probation once you proved that to her. The dancer and her mom’s behavior also counts. After Kendall got off probation she was put back on about two weeks later because of her crazy mom’s behavior. That is when her mom stormed out of the room and called Cathy Nesbitt Stein, the owner of Candy Apples Dance Center. As I said before Cathy was once an ALDC dance mom of Vivi-Anne Stein. The first day Kendall visited Candy Apples she was invited on the team! She went to their first competition in Pittsburgh where they were competing against their biggest rivals, Abby Lee Dance Company. Kendall did a solo the first week she was there and she competed against Abby’s dancer Nia. Nia doesn’t get that much attention on the team because she isn’t the best out of the girls and her mom has many absences. She is mostly like an underdog there. But for once she got a solo and got beat by Kendall. She was set up. It made her and her mom very upset.
There is also something called a pyramid under each paper there is a picture which contains three rows. The person on top of the pyramid usually gets a solo and is in the “spotlight” for the dance. The person who is normally on top is Abby’s favorite dancer Maddie. She was on top for five weeks in a row! A lot of moms complain about that too. Abby cried when Maddie forgot her solo in the finale but she never cried when anyone else forgot other times. Favoritism, favoritism… Everyone knows it, even her.
As you can see I really love this show and I am an expert at it by now. I wish I could tell you about every single episode but I think that would be too long. I actually went to a competition and saw them perform! I only started watching in season two and I am in love! I hope this helped anyone who has never seen the show. Dance Moms season two just had a mid-season finale so make sure to keep watching when it comes back with the second part of season two in June. On the channel lifetime at 9 P.M.! Until then make sure to watch Dance Moms Miami! A new show based on Miami dancers and their crazy dance moms!

A boy I know in 2nd grade has autism. His name is Danny. A lot of people have autism and Kaylee knows some people who have autism as well. This is Kaylee’s story, “I know a lot of people think of autism as a small thing that won’t do any harm to you, but that’s not true. People get bullied from having autism, but that’s the way they are. I have two cousins who have autism Arnold, and Connor. Arnold was not born in the U.S. and he was unfortunately diagnosed with autism. He does not go to school, he is home schooled because he tried school for a year, and was bullied. He lives life like a normal kid, but is different from the way other people act. Sometimes he would get laughed at because he is so loud or because he is just “weird”. But, people don’t know his story, they don’t know what he’s been through. People say that he’s not “one of us”, but how do you know? He’s going to turn 13 and still cannot write perfectly like the “average” 13 year old. Connor is 15 and still plays with toys that I used to play with. Laugh at him, all you’ll do is break his heart. What if that was you who had autism? He has more than just autism, so that makes the days even worse for his mother and father. It’s hard for them to just ignore the fact that their son has trouble doing things he wish he could do. I understand if you’re thinking right now… I’ll never have a son/daughter who will be diagnosed with autism, but 1 out of 54 boys and 1 out of 252 girls have autism. I am happy I have amazing cousins, and I wouldn’t change a thing if they have autism. I love them for who they are, inside and out. AUTISM SPEAKS!” Anyways, back to Danny: He is raising money to support his team in the autism walk, his mom and many other girls in his town are getting blue hair extensions to support Team Danny. The hair extensions are $10 and definitely worth it! All the proceeds go right to Danny and his team. If you are interested in getting one they will be sold for the month of April and May at A Cut Above at 7 East Pleasant Ave., Maywood, NJ. I got mine and we can all help by going to A Cut Above and getting an awesome blue hair extension! Support Team Danny and together we’ll stop autism! Just check the address on A Cut Above!
