Have you ever heard that it’s okay to cry over spilled breastmilk? Seriously, it is because what we know is how hard it can be to even produce milk, let alone the pumping time that goes into it all. It can be uncomfortable, tiring, and leave mamas defeated. What we don’t know is the other reason to cry over spilled breastmilk, and that’s the super powers it embodies.

Breastfeeding for me was if I could, I would, but if I was unable to then that would be okay. Fed is best and as long as baby is gaining weight with breastmilk or formula, then this mama is happy. My first baby was hard because it was new and breastfeeding was also hard. After a few weeks it was our bonding time and easy as pie. My second is different because she loves to pull back on her latch making things uber painful if I don’t catch her. So then why continue or cry when production is low. . .the superpowers remember. Six superpowers to be exact that are all in your breastmilk and trust me, make you feel great about your journey.

Melatonin

We are all familiar with this as we can find this in the form of a gummy and slowly drift away to sleep. Well, breastmilk has melatonin and released at night to help baby and mama drift away to sleep easier.
