TikTok and Tea

Good morning my tea sipping, pinky up friends, I may be extra relaxed because I know I have an elongated weekend and today off. Let’s be honest, today I’m catching up on my missed sleep because I was up every 2 hours going potty. Any who, besides my saving grace of tea each afternoon, I’ve actually found myself nestling into TikTok. Stop judging and wait to hear me out.

I get that TikTok has become the land of the youth dancing and grooving their everyday out, but ummm hello DIY royalty, baking gods, and educational peeps teaching this 37 year old a thing or two. You see youths, this mama over here has been on the socials for quite some time now aka Facebook was created for college life. Then Twitter became popular, Instagram was simply a way to be an amateur photographer and post pictures with swanky filters, no stories or live invented at this time, and then fast forward to the TikTok era.

Much like Instagram, one could view and watch videos with fun filters, however TikTok took off because well dancing, music and becoming famous and trending called out to this youngsters. I personally fell into mom TikTok world, DIY, and educational TikTok. I also learned how students try to outsmart their teachers on Zoom so psst. kids, I know. {muuahhhhwahh} Anatomy dissections, biology things, DIY your cabinets using contact paper, baking hacks, and my favorite which I’m on is creating a cute smoothie bar setup to drink my protein and smoothies every morning!
